TikTok is ringing in the holiday season early.
Users across the platform have recently been raving about Home Depot’s Grand Duchess Balsam Fir Christmas tree, with the hashtag garnering over 12.5 million views on TikTok.
While holiday decorating enthusiasts have been posting about the product as early as September, the spike in posts have overflowed For You Pages all October.
The artificial Christmas tree has more than 3,000 branch tips and over 2,000 color-changing LEDs, making it ultra full and sparkly. Starting at $349, the festive Home Depot product comes in three different sizes – 7.5 feet, 9 feet and 12 feet. Plus, customers can order it in full or slim shapes, per the retailer’s website.
One TikTok user, who goes by Mama Birdie, demonstrated in a video how many settings the tree’s lights have. Using a color-changing remote control, she changed the hue and brightness from white to multicolored, while also changing the twinkling pattern.
“I just had to. I fell for the viral #grandduchessbalsamfir christmas tree from home depot. And I have to say its SO worth it,” she wrote in the caption of the post, which has over 16,000 likes.
Another TikTok creator, who goes by @JessicaMadisonHome, shared her enthusiastic review on a video with 16,000 likes.
“Seriously the most stunning tree i have EVER owned,” she captioned her post.
In the video, she described how easy it is to set up. “I didn’t even fluff this sucker. I just put it straight together and connected it and turned it on,” she said, adding, “It is a game changer.”
Earlier this month, a fall seasonal decoration went viral on TikTok – Target’s 8-foot jack-o’-lantern product named Lewis.
The retailer recently unveiled the Halloween prop, designed by Hyde and Eek Boutique. The decoration, which retails for $180, is currently listed as sold out on Target’s website, but social media users have been obsessed with how the jack-o’-lantern that is situated on top of a body draped in tattered black robes also speaks.
“I am not a jack-o’-lantern,” the prop can be heard saying in videos shared online. “My name is Lewis.”
In other statements, the decoration also says, “I’m so happy you could carve out some time to come out tonight” and “I fear nothing night or day, except a strong breeze to make me sway.”
Videos shared on TikTok show Target customers’ excitement at seeing the Halloween prop in stores.
“Running into celebrities at Target,” one clip on the video-sharing app is captioned, as another reads, “Big news: I met Lewis at Target this week.”
